Author: Torres Godinez Erika

This paper analyzes the importance of entrepreneurship and knowledge in the process of change in capitalist societies. For this, the role of the entrepreneur in the market is studied not only as a rational agent that maximizes its profit, but also explain how this develops entrepreneurship, which enables you to distinguish themselves from others. This paper will conduct a review of the importance of the entrepreneur in Joseph A. Schumpeter and Ludwig von Mises, in terms of the role or characteristics that are assigned and that affect the functioning of the market, and the extent to which they achieve or measure affecting processes rate. Also, a review of the concept "knowledge" will be held in the sense Israel Kirzner, and say how it is linked to the idea of entrepreneurship. Human action as a result of the process of knowledge and experience; which is no stranger to such psychological elements that define the behavior of human beings. A goal is to find the psychological elements that define the behavior of the employer, if it is rational, but that's what it takes to act that way, beyond the pursuit of profit. As a final product with this article I hope the following: first, get the basic conceptualization; clarify the points of agreement and those who open discussion points on the theoretical analysis; and place them within the historical context in which they made their contributions to economic science.
